Welcome to the City of Mexico Purchasing Office. We purchase products and services used by city employees so they can respond to the needs of the community. Our goal is for the City of Mexico taxpayers to receive the maximum value from expenditures made by the city.
Our purchasing practices are based on Missouri State law and adopted internal policy. Purchasing for the most part is a centralized function. This means that the Purchasing Agent conducts most, but not all, of the purchases made for the city. See Purchasing Policy for more details.
