Programs Offered

  1. Adopt-A-Street Program

    The Adopt-a-Street Program is a cooperative effort between the City of Mexico and citizens of Mexico who wish to contribute to the appearance of their community by the reduction of litter.

  2. Backflow Valve Program

    This program is designed to provide financial assistance to residential property owners for the installation of a backflow valve to prevent basement sewer back‑ups.

  3. Household Hazardous Waste Facility

    The City of Mexico opened its Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Facility located at the Singleton Maintenance Center, 221 S. Morris on Wednesday April 9, 2008.

  4. Public Sidewalk Program

    This Public Sidewalk Program is intended to assist applicants with the cost of replacing all or a portion of their existing sidewalk or installing a new sidewalk. To be considered for the Public Sidewalk Program, an application must be submitted and approved prior to beginning any work on a sidewalk.
